Rules the 5th House
A couple of weeks ago this little anahera entered our lives. Her foster home named her Melena (spanish for mane) because she was found as a wee baby with oil stuck fur around her neck.
She was incredibly timid when we brought her back to the whare, definitely no touching welcomed. I was looking forward to playing the slow long game with gaining her trust. Who said that thing? Slow is steady and steady is fast? Something like that… Well lo and behold she’s gracing us with more of herself every day and I can’t quite believe how quickly she’s come out of her shell.
Yesterday I made my first friend since being back. The only time I leave the house atm is to go to the supermarket or walk a truly divine track near by, on a busy day I’ll see at most 5 people and am starting to clock the familiar faces. I’ve run into a girl and her pup a few times and after bumping into her in the same spot at different times on different days we started to really engage. Turns out we live on the same street, a couple of houses away from each other and she also lived in melbourne for 8 years before returning home. I didn’t ask for her number yet but love knowing that I’ll see her again soon to do just that hehe
